Our Church

Weekly Worship

Service begins at 11am on Sunday. Our worship blends contemporary and traditional elements. Communion is celebrated on the second Sunday of each month. We also live stream services on our Facebook page.

Sunday School

Grant offers programs for children during the worship service. Rocking chairs and a small play area are available in the sanctuary for families with younger children.

Grant Gals

Women’s Ministry Group: Gather for special activities.
Secret Sisters Ministry: Receive a name in December, then pray for and leave gifts/cards for them throughout the year.

Operation Christmas Child

Grant United Methodist Church kids and teens pack over a hundred shoe boxes every year for children in need.

Rev. Julie Lawhead

Julie brings a background in Spiritual Formation through Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary and is currently taking Course of Study courses through General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) through the United Methodist Church. Julie is married to her husband, Tony, and they have one son, AJ. AJ and his new wife recently welcomed Julie’s first grandchild.

Operation Christmas Child


“The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.”

Grant United Methodist Church kids and teens pack 120 shoe boxes every year for Operation Christmas Child.
